Have you ever had one of those days where you literally live through every. single. season..? Well, that was this day. Joel and I went to our location early to scope it out and find the best spots. On our way there, it was so sunny and warm, but it didn't last long. Out of nowhere, it started POURING rain! It was so bad we couldn't see five feet in front of us! Luckily, the storm died down and we were able to hike around in the warm sun for bit. Sam and Emerson arrived a bit after and as soon as we got out of our cars, we were caught in the COLDEST, WINDIEST snowstorm! But because our clients are literally troopers, we set out to get some intense, moody photos!
In all reality, stormy photos are actually amazing. It gives a sort of dramatic flare to them that you just can't get in perfect weather. Don't get me wrong, I love the sun. But if I get a chance to shoot in rain, or wind storms, or snowstorms, I eat that right up.
Sam and Emerson were absolutely FROZEN by the time we finished. They are seriously some of the toughest people we have ever shot with! But in all reality, it was completely worth every second of it!
